HONOR and Huawei launch new foldable smartphones and tablets

HONOR has launched the Magic V6 foldable smartphone in the Philippines, priced at ₱119,999. The device features an ultra-slim design, measuring 8.75mm when folded, and includes a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and offers IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. Pre-orders running from August 25 to September 4, 2026, include a free HONOR Pad X8b.

In the tablet market, HONOR has released the Pad 20 series in Malaysia, featuring 12.1-inch 3K displays and 10,100mAh batteries. The lineup includes the standard Pad 20 and the Pad 20 Pro, with student discounts available in the region.

Additionally, Huawei has introduced the MatePad Air (2026), a 12-inch tablet featuring an OLED PaperMatte display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is designed for mobile professionals, integrating AI-powered productivity tools and a slim 5.3mm profile. It includes a 10,100mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging.
