HONOR Magic V6 launched with ultra‑thin foldable design and record‑size battery
HONOR unveiled its latest flagship foldable, the Magic V6, positioning it as the thinnest and most durable device in the segment. The phone measures just 9 mm when folded and 4.1 mm when unfolded, weighing 224 g. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage, and houses a 6 660 mAh silicon‑carbon battery – the largest ever seen in a foldable – supporting 80 W wired and 66 W wireless fast charging.
Both screens feature high brightness (6 000 nits external, 5 000 nits internal) with adaptive refresh rates from 1 to 120 Hz and advanced anti‑scratch NanoCrystal Shield protection. The device is certified IP68/IP69 for water and dust resistance and uses a reinforced Super Steel hinge tested to withstand loads over 80 kg without damage. AI‑driven camera hardware includes a 50 MP main sensor, a 64 MP periscope telephoto and a 50 MP ultra‑wide lens, all assisted by Honor’s AI Falcon system.
The Magic V6 has already earned two Global Mobile Awards Asia – Best Smartphone in Asia and Disruptive Device Innovation – the first product to win both categories. James Li, Honor’s CEO, said, “Users of foldable devices should never have to compromise between design, durability and performance.” The phone is now on sale in Croatia, Romania, Finland and other markets, with flagship pricing between €1 999 and €2 299 and promotional bundles that include accessories such as a projector, keyboard and Magic Pen.
