HONOR launches Magic V6 flagship foldable smartphone
HONOR has expanded its presence in the premium smartphone market with the launch of the Magic V6 flagship foldable. The device features an ultra-slim design, measuring 8.75mm when folded and 4.0mm when unfolded, and is equipped with a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform and includes an AI Falcon Camera System with a 50MP main sensor, a 64MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
In the Philippines, the Magic V6 is available through Globe postpaid plans. The launch was celebrated with the inaugural HONOR Magic V6 Golf Cup, an event featuring various celebrities and golf enthusiasts. In South Africa, the launch included the introduction of the MagicBook X14, the HONOR Pad 20, and a preview of a new Robot Phone.
Additionally, leaks regarding the upcoming Magic 9 series suggest a September release. Reports indicate the series may include a standard Magic 9 model using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a high-end Magic 9 Pro or Pro Max model featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, a larger display, and a significantly larger battery potentially exceeding 8,000mAh.
