HONOR launches Magic9 Pro Max with ARRI cinema features
HONOR has launched the Magic9 Pro Max in China, featuring a professional cinema workflow co-engineered with ARRI. The device includes an ARRI CINEMA mode capable of recording 4K 60fps using the ARRI LogC3 curve and ARRI Wide Gamut 3. The hardware features dual 200MP rear cameras and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 alongside a dedicated 6nm H1 imaging chip.
In the lens market, Sigma and Tamron are expanding their availability for the Nikon Z-mount. Tamron is releasing a 20-40mm F/2.8 Di III VXD lens, which is expected to be available from October 22 for 709 euros. Sigma is introducing the 16-300mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary, an APS-C lens designed for the Z-mount with an 18.8x zoom factor.
Additionally, leaked specifications for a new Sigma 50-120mm f/2.8 DC OS Contemporary lens suggest a compact, stabilized telephoto zoom for APS-C mirrorless cameras. The lens reportedly weighs 390g and features an HLA linear motor for autofocus.
