Honor launches Robot Phone with integrated mechanical gimbal
Honor has introduced the Robot Phone, a device featuring a built-in, motorized mechanical gimbal designed to redefine mobile photography. The hardware includes a 3-axis mechanical stabilization system housed under a transparent cover, capable of various modes such as FPV, ultra-stable, and subject tracking.
In collaboration with cinema equipment brand ARRI, the phone supports ARRI LogC3 film color curves and 11 preset cinematic styles. The imaging system is anchored by a 200MP gimbal main camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite platform and features a 7060mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
Beyond photography, the phone includes a ‘YOYO Robot Mode,’ allowing for interactive communication through screen expressions and gimbal movements. Honor’s marketing leadership has positioned the device as a professional tool for the new era of content creation.
