Honor launches Robot Phone with integrated motorized gimbal

Honor has launched the Robot Phone in China, a new flagship device featuring a built-in motorized gimbal system designed for content creators, vloggers, and mobile filmmakers. The device integrates a miniature titanium gimbal mechanism that houses a 200-megapixel primary camera, allowing for three-axis stabilization and automated subject tracking at speeds of up to 360 degrees per second.

To enhance video quality, Honor collaborated with German camera manufacturer ARRI for color tuning and supports 10-bit Log-C3 video recording. The hardware includes a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 2.7x optical zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and runs on Android 16.

Additional specifications include a 7,060mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging capabilities. While the device was showcased at MWC 2026, its initial commercial availability is limited to the Chinese market.
