HONOR Magic 9 series achieves record Android flagship sales

The HONOR Magic 9 series has emerged as the top-selling Android flagship launched in 2026, according to Guan Haitao, HONOR’s Global Chief Marketing Officer. The series, which includes the Magic 9, Magic 9 Super Edition, and Magic 9 Pro Max, has seen significant success in the Chinese market following its late September launch.

Reports from industry insider Digital Chat Station suggest the series has reached approximately 390,000 activations as of week 42. This performance is attributed to competitive pricing and advanced photographic technology developed in collaboration with ARRI. The aggressive pricing strategy has allowed HONOR to capture market share despite rising semiconductor supply chain costs.

While the series is currently dominating in China, an official European launch is planned for January 2027, with confirmed presentations scheduled for France and the United Kingdom. Market speculation suggests HONOR may focus exclusively on the high-end Magic 9 Pro Max variant for the international market.
