Honor prepares Magic 9 series launch with advanced imaging and large batteries

Honor is preparing to launch its Magic 9 series on September 28 in China. Leaks and official teasers suggest a diverse lineup including the standard Magic 9, a Pro Max model, and a high-end Super Edition.

The Magic 9 Pro Max is expected to feature a high-end metal body, an 8,800mAh battery, and advanced imaging technology developed in collaboration with ARRI, including the Yuguang H1 AI Image Signal Processor. It may also feature a 1:1 square 55MP front-facing sensor.

The Super Edition is rumored to be a specialized device for gaming, potentially featuring a massive 11,000mAh battery, a 165Hz display, and an active cooling system with a built-in fan. The standard Magic 9 is expected to offer a smaller 6.37-inch screen and an 8,000mAh battery.

Additionally, Honor has announced the upcoming Honor Watch 6 Pro, which will be officially introduced on September 28. This smartwatch is expected to include health monitoring features such as blood pressure and heart status tracking.
