Honor Robot Phone sets reservation record ahead of August launch
Honor announced that its first robot smartphone, the Honor Robot Phone, broke reservation records on the first day, surpassing all previous Honor flagship models. The pre‑order campaign began on 19 July 2026 at authorized stores, with a deposit of 1,000 yuan to secure early delivery rights. The device is slated for an official launch in August 2026.
The phone features a 200‑megapixel camera mounted on the industry’s smallest four‑degree‑of‑freedom titanium gimbal, driven by four custom 6 mm motors. It runs on a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and launches with Honor’s new AgenticOS, which enables multimodal AI assistants that can execute complex, multi‑step voice commands. Early buyers will receive a year of gimbal replacement service, a lifetime YOYO SVIP membership, and a full set of accessories, including a magnetic stand and a universal charger.
Rumors suggest that the 1 TB storage variant could be priced around 15,999 yuan (approximately €2,070), reflecting the high cost of the specialised titanium components and the extensive 60‑step manufacturing process.
