HONOR Robot Phone debuts with 4DoF titanium gimbal and ARRI imaging
HONOR has launched the HONOR Robot Phone, a device featuring a 4DoF (four degrees of freedom) titanium alloy gimbal system. The integrated mechanical arm and gimbal utilize miniature motors to enable features such as 360-degree rotation per second, automatic tracking, and intelligent camera movement via the YOYO Robot Mode.
In collaboration with German imaging brand ARRI, the phone supports Log-C film color reproduction and professional LUT workflows to maintain high dynamic range. The hardware includes a 200MP gimbal main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 2.7x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a 7060mAh battery, supporting 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Following an initial sell-out of the flagship models, which started at 9,999 yuan, the device is seeing expanded availability, including parallel imports in Hong Kong priced from $12,980 HKD for the 12GB+512GB version.
