HONOR Robot Phone demonstrated in Split
HONOR held a public demonstration of its Robot Phone at the Telemach x HONOR store in Split's City Center One. The device integrates robotics, artificial intelligence, and camera technology developed in collaboration with professional film production company ARRI.
The phone features a robotic camera system with four degrees of freedom (4DoF). Utilizing an integrated gimbal and AI algorithms, the camera can autonomously move, recognize subjects, and adjust framing in real time to track movement without additional stabilization equipment.
According to HONOR Sales Director Amir Afgan, the Robot Phone is part of the ‘HONOR Alpha Plan,’ a long-term strategy to transition the company from a smartphone manufacturer into a global AI company. The device incorporates ARRI LogC3, ARRI Wide Gamut 3, and ARRI Looks to support professional-grade mobile workflows from filming to post-production.
