Honor to develop wide foldable and non-foldable smartphones

Honor is reportedly developing two new wide-form factor devices: a wide foldable phone and a wide non-foldable smartphone. These upcoming products appear to target the market segment occupied by Huawei’s Pura X series, which has seen significant sales success due to its unique wide dimensions.

In a separate development, Huawei’s MatePad Air is gaining attention for its PaperMatte display technology. The high-end version of the tablet features a 12-inch OLED screen with an anti-glare treatment designed to eliminate up to 99% of ambient light reflections, providing a paper-like texture for writing and viewing.
