Honor to launch Win 2 smartphone series in China

Honor has announced the upcoming launch of its Win 2 series in China, scheduled for October 21. The series includes three distinct models: the Honor Win 2, the Win RT 2, and the Win Turbo 2.

The flagship Honor Win 2 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, supported by LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. To manage performance, it will utilize a dual-fan active cooling system, which reportedly allows the device to exceed 5.7 million points in AnTuTu benchmarks. The device is slated to have a 6.89-inch 2K LTPS OLED display with a 185 Hz refresh rate, a 200 MP main camera with OIS, and a 10,100 mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The Win RT 2 and Win Turbo 2 models are expected to prioritize battery longevity, both potentially featuring 12,070 mAh batteries. While the Win RT 2 will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the Win Turbo 2 may utilize a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Pre-orders for the series have opened in China, though official pricing has not yet been disclosed.
