HONOR unveils AI-powered mobile imaging and cinematic tools
HONOR has introduced new mobile imaging technologies aimed at professionalizing content creation through its HONOR 600 Series and the HONOR AiMAGE system. During the ‘HONOR Imaging Technology Launch’ in Hengdian, the company showcased a shift from focusing solely on hardware specifications to building a comprehensive ecosystem of AI-driven processing and color science.
A key feature is the ‘Image to Video with AI 2.0’ function, which allows users to transform static photographs into dynamic animations using various templates. These include a ‘Free Style’ mode for combining multiple images, a ‘Pets in Action’ template for creating lifelike animal animations, and a ‘Personal Evolution’ tool that generates smooth transitions between two different photos.
Additionally, the company is integrating professional cinematic workflows into mobile devices. By collaborating with industry experts, including ARRI’s Image Science division director Harald Brendel, HONOR aims to provide tools that allow creators to execute complex edits—such as removing background objects or changing skies—using simple text instructions via AI Studio.
