Honor launches Magic9 series with ARRI cinematic cameras
Honor has officially launched its Magic9 series in China, featuring the Magic9, Magic9 Super Edition, and the flagship Magic9 Pro Max. The series emphasizes high-capacity batteries and advanced imaging capabilities. The Magic9 Super Edition stands out with an 11,000 mAh battery and an active cooling system, while the standard Magic9 features an 8,000 mAh battery.
A major highlight of the series is the collaboration with professional cinema brand ARRI. The Magic9 Pro Max is positioned as a ‘handheld cinema system,’ incorporating ARRI Image Science, ARRI LogC3 recording, and specialized color management to enhance mobile cinematography. The device features dual 200 MP cameras and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
In addition to smartphones, Honor introduced new Android tablets: the MagicPad 4 (12.1), which offers a 165 Hz display and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, and the Tablet X10 Pro Max, which features a 13-inch screen and a 10,100 mAh battery. The company also continues to develop future hardware, including potential foldable and rollable screen devices.
