Honor unveils X6e budget smartphone while eyeing early September launch of Magic 9 flagship
Honor released the X6e, a low‑end Android phone that shares most of its design with the recent X7e. It features a 6.61‑inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, a 50 MP main camera, and a large 7500 mAh battery that supports 45 W fast charging. The device is positioned in the 4 GB + 128 GB configuration and retains IP64 protection and a 3.5 mm jack.
Separately, leaker Digital Chat Station reports that Honor plans to launch its flagship Magic 9 earlier than usual, targeting the last week of September (around the 28th). The upcoming phone is expected to use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, a 6000 mAh battery with up to 100 W charging, and run on the new MagicOS 10. By releasing the flagship before the typical October window, Honor aims to capture consumer attention ahead of Apple and Huawei launches and to position the device as a premium alternative to January‑released flagships.
