Hoogland housing project begins with community donation

Project developer Martin van Hoogevest donated 2,000 euros to representatives of the Langenoord district in Hoogland to support the greening of a local playground. The donation coincided with the official start of construction for ten new homes at ‘De Langenoordse Eng’.

Amersfoort Alderman Joyce Huurman performed the ceremonial first stone laying at the site on October 8, 2026. The construction takes place on a historical site, with the event held in a tent situated between remaining original walls of a former farm. Eight of the ten planned homes have already been sold.
