Hoosier Classic tennis tournament sees wins for Ball State and Miami University

The 2026 Hoosier Classic, hosted by Indiana University, concluded with competitive performances from several collegiate women's tennis programs.

Ball State University secured notable victories against Power Four opponents. Priyanka Rana defeated Iowa's Sally Xu in a three-set match (6-1, 4-6, 7-5), while Anya Tkachyk won against Louisville's Anshika Jamaal (6-3, 2-6, 6-2). In doubles, the team of Rana and Sydney Hrehor defeated Iowa's Ida Clement and Xu, and Isabel Tanjuatco and Noa Kosman earned wins over both Notre Dame and Miami (OH).

Miami University also saw success during the tournament. Allie Faulkner recorded a comeback victory against Louisville's Davis (5-7, 7-6, 6-3). Other Miami wins included singles victories by Evelyn Risner and Maria Komar, alongside doubles wins by the pairings of Nina Chavez/Clara Owen and Maria Komar/Evelyn Risner.
