Hořovice hospital evacuated following anonymous bomb threat
An anonymous bomb threat led to the evacuation of dozens of people from the Hořovice hospital on Thursday morning. Following safety protocols, emergency services activated a trauma plan to manage the situation.
Police deployed multiple patrols and canine units trained in explosives detection to search the facility. While many individuals were evacuated to nearby hospitals or local community centers, some patients who were bedridden or dependent on medical equipment remained in the building under close police and medical supervision.
By approximately 10:30 AM, authorities reported that no explosives were found during the search. Hospital director Jiří Pichlík confirmed that all patients and staff are safe. Police are currently working to identify the individual responsible for the threat.
