Hopetoun P-12 school activities and student achievements

Students at Hopetoun P-12 participated in various community and sporting events during the first two weeks of Term 4. A group of students traveled to Ballarat to watch a Western Bulldogs victory in an AFLW match, where they also met players.

Athletic participation included students competing in shot put, discus, and track events at the Greater Western Region Athletics in Ballarat. Additionally, Year 9 students organized R U OK? Day activities to promote mental health awareness and peer support.

Representing the school in the Rural Youth Ambassador Program, students Spencer and Ben traveled to Melbourne to present findings regarding challenges faced by rural communities to the Education Department, concluding with their graduation from the program.
