Hopi Hari park to resume medical costs for accident victim

Five months after an accident at the Hopi Hari theme park left 28-year-old Júlia Bossoni with a traumatic brain injury, her family continues to face significant medical and financial challenges. Following a 57-day hospitalization in Vinhedo, Bossoni returned to Londrina, Paraná, where she faces ongoing complications and movement limitations.

The family reported spending over R$ 70,000 on treatments not covered by health insurance. While the family initially claimed Hopi Hari had ceased financial assistance following her transfer to Paraná, the park later announced it would resume covering essential care, including retroactive payments to the date of her discharge from Vinhedo.

The incident has prompted discussions regarding the importance of life insurance policies that include coverage for permanent or partial disability and temporary incapacity, rather than focusing solely on death benefits.
