Argentine journalist Horacio Pagani underwent emergency surgery after a routine medical checkup revealed a significant obstruction in his carotid artery. At the Instituto Argentino de Diagnóstico y Tratamiento, doctors performed a procedure to place a stent to restore blood flow and prevent a potential stroke. Pagani, 82, shared that the intervention was successful and expressed gratitude to his followers while anticipating a quick recovery.

In Mexico, actor and producer Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo narrowly avoided a heart attack during a trip to Monterrey. After experiencing unusual dizziness, he sought medical attention where doctors discovered an artery blocked at 90 percent. Following an emergency catheterization to place a stent, he was stabilized. Due to the incident and existing respiratory issues, Ortiz de Pinedo underwent an eight-month cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program in Monterrey to manage his health and improve his respiratory capacity.
