Horațiu Mălăele honored with week‑long theatre marathon at Bucharest's National Theatre

Actor‑director Horațiu Mălăele is being celebrated with a six‑day theatrical marathon hosted in the Ion Caramitru hall of the National Theatre "I. L. Caragiale" in Bucharest. The program opens on Monday with the play “Tache, Ianke și Cadâr”, followed by “Fierarii” on 30 July and “Măscăriciul” on 31 July, both directed by Mălăele and featuring a cast that includes Răzvan Vasilescu, Mihai Constantin, Maia Morgenstern, George Mihăiță and Valentin Teodosiu. The marathon concludes on 1 August with “Sunt un orb”, a one‑man show in which Mălăele combines texts by Romanian poets with his own performance, joined by his son Bogdan Mălăele as a special guest. All productions are presented by Prestige Art Production, a company dedicated to promoting high‑quality theatrical art.
