Horin Ramen to open new location in New Westminster

Horin Ramen is set to open its first location in New Westminster, British Columbia. The new restaurant will be situated on the ground floor of the Ovation building, across from New Westminster Station.

This marks the chain’s fifth location in British Columbia, joining existing shops in Burnaby, Victoria, and a planned location in Richmond. The brand traces its origins to a 1966 restaurant in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, which is credited with creating chili ramen by adding a spicy tare to classic tonkotsu broth.

Horin Ramen specializes in a pure pork bone tonkotsu broth and custom-designed ultra-fine noodles. The company continues to expand its presence in the region following the launch of its Nin-Nin concept last year.
