Horizon3.ai launches NodeZero platform as OT security threats rise
Horizon3.ai introduced the NodeZero® Proactive Security Platform, a solution that continuously validates an organization’s security posture through autonomous, production‑safe penetration testing. The platform pinpoints exploitable attack paths across internal, external, cloud, identity, Kubernetes and hybrid environments, prioritises remediation based on verified exploitability and business impact, and provides audit‑ready reports with remediation guidance and evidence of fixes.
At the same time, industry alerts highlighted several critical OT security issues. A vulnerability (CVE‑2026‑12345) in Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure control systems could allow unauthorized access to operational data, prompting urgent patches. A ransomware attack disrupted a major water‑treatment facility in the U.S. Midwest, sparking collaboration between local authorities and cybersecurity experts. The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) released updated guidelines for securing industrial control systems, and a supply‑chain breach exposed millions of IoT devices to potential remote‑access threats. Experts advise immediate patching, network segmentation, and enhanced incident‑response planning for critical infrastructure.
