Horror video games highlighted for Halloween season

Various horror video game titles are being highlighted for the Halloween season, offering diverse experiences ranging from psychological tension to supernatural scares.

Selected titles include MADiSON, which utilizes an instant camera to solve puzzles and reveal supernatural presences, and Visage, a psychological horror game inspired by domestic terror traditions where players navigate an unpredictable residence. Other intense titles mentioned include Nun Massacre and The Mortuary Assistant.

PlayStation has also released a curated list of nine indie horror games. This selection includes CloverPit, a roguelite strategy game set in a rusty room; Escape the Backrooms, a cooperative labyrinth exploration game; and Graveyard Keeper 2, a dark fantasy resource management game. For those seeking less intense experiences, Fangtopia offers a puzzle-based construction game featuring mythical creatures.
