Entre Ríos police seize abused horse after collapse on Urquiza‑Rocamora intersection

On July 25, a horse pulling a cart in the Urquiza‑Rocamora intersection of Entre Ríos collapsed from exhaustion, prompting municipal Zoonosis personnel and police to intervene. A judicial order under Argentina's animal‑protection law resulted in the horse and the cart being seized and placed under the custody of the Municipal Zoonosis Department for veterinary care, while three minor passengers were returned to their parents.

The next morning the horse, which had been temporarily housed at a municipal facility on J.J. Urquiza and Santa Teresita streets, was reported missing.
