Hortensia Herrero named in ARTnews Top 200 Collectors list

Hortensia Herrero, president of the Hortensia Herrero Foundation and the Hortensia Herrero Art Center (CAHH) in Valencia, has been included in the ARTnews Top 200 Collectors list for the third consecutive year. She remains the only Spanish collector featured in this international selection.

The annual list recognizes major global art collectors and patrons whose collections span various periods and disciplines, including contemporary, modern, post-war, Asian, Impressionist, and Old Master art. Herrero appears alongside influential figures such as Hélène and Bernard Arnault, François Pinault, and Miuccia Prada.

Addressing the concept of the ‘trophy market’ highlighted in this edition, Herrero stated that she views art as a passion rather than a competition. She noted her intention to share her collection with the public through her art center in Valencia.
