Horticultural Autumn and Harvest Day events held in Romania

The Bucharest Horticultural Autumn – Harvest Day event will take place from October 1 to 4 at the USAMV Agronomy-Herăstrău campus. The event is expected to host over 100 exhibitors and attract more than 10,000 visitors, offering workshops, seasonal products, and demonstrations in horticulture and gastronomy.

Key attractions include fruit and wine tastings, featuring varieties from the Pietroasa Research and Development Station for Viticulture and Vinification. The event will also highlight modern agricultural technologies, such as artificial intelligence applied to plant breeding through the ‘AI-CROPBREED’ workshop.

In Zalău, a Harvest Day was also held at the Transylvania Building plaza, where local producers from Sălaj and surrounding areas showcased seasonal vegetables, fruits, wines, and preserves.
