Hoshi of SEVENTEEN suffers full ACL tear during military service

Hoshi, a member of the K-pop group SEVENTEEN, has announced that he suffered a full tear of his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). The injury occurred while he was practicing with the Army Taekwondo Demonstration Team during his military service.

Following a medical examination, Hoshi confirmed he will undergo surgery and must focus on recovery and rehabilitation. As a result, he will be unable to participate in previously scheduled events for the Taekwondo Demonstration Team and the Army Ground Forces festival.

Hoshi, who enlisted in the military last September, is currently scheduled for discharge on March 15, 2027. He expressed disappointment regarding his inability to perform but encouraged fans to continue supporting his teammates, including fellow group member Woozi (Jihoon).
