Hoshi releases new album addressing personal grief and past relationship

French singer Hoshi has released a new album titled ‘Bonjour docteur’, which features deeply personal themes regarding her private life and past relationships. In recent interviews, the artist discussed the track ‘Billy et Joey’, a song dedicated to the children she had imagined having with her former partner and manager, Gia Martinelli.

Hoshi described the song as a way to bid farewell to the family she had envisioned with Martinelli following the end of their relationship. The singer has previously accused Martinelli of professional and intimate abuse, a conflict that led to legal proceedings. Despite the grief associated with the end of that relationship, Hoshi stated that her desire to become a mother remains a priority as she moves into a new chapter of her life.
