Hoshino Resorts to open BunkLodge NEKOMA in Fukushima

Hoshino Resorts has announced the opening of ‘BunkLodge NEKOMA by Hoshino Resorts’ at Nekoma Mountain in Fukushima Prefecture on January 12, 2027. The facility, located in Bandai Town, is being repurposed from a site previously operated as ‘SAMURAI RIDERS’ before the Great East Japan Earthquake.

The new lodge features 63 rooms designed for group stays, offering capacities for 4 or 6 people. Aimed at active skiers and snowboarders who prioritize time on the slopes, the lodge offers budget-friendly rates, starting at 3,200 yen per person per night for a standard plan (based on 6 occupants), and as low as 2,560 yen per person per night for a 5-night stay plan.

Amenities include a lounge, drying rooms, and a tune-up corner to support long-term stays. Reservations for the facility opened on September 1, with the initial operating season scheduled from January 12 to March 6, 2027.
