Hoshino Resorts to open Kai Ureshino in Saga in 2027

Hoshino Resorts has announced the summer 2027 opening of ‘Kai Ureshino’ in Saga Prefecture, marking the company’s first expansion into the region. The new hot spring inn will focus on a ‘skin-beautifying spa wellness’ concept, leveraging Ureshino Onsen’s reputation as one of Japan’s three major springs known for its smooth, skin-nourishing waters.

Designed by Kodai Architects, the facility will feature 28 guest rooms, all of which are maisonette-style with private open-air baths and courtyard gardens. The interior design incorporates local elements, such as original fittings infused with Ureshino tea leaves and artwork inspired by the Ariake Sea.

A central feature of the inn is ‘Bihada Goya,’ a specialized spa treatment facility designed to maximize the benefits of the local spring water. Reservations for the property are expected to begin in the spring of 2027.
