Hospice di Savignano sul Rubicone celebrates 25 years of palliative care

The Hospice di Savignano sul Rubicone is celebrating 25 years of service as the first public palliative care facility in the Emilia-Romagna region. Over its quarter-century of operation, the facility has treated more than 4,600 patients, totaling approximately 5,300 hospitalizations.

To mark the anniversary, Ausl Romagna has organized two public events. On October 12, the OPI Forlì Cesena nursing order will present an amateur theatrical performance titled ‘Le stagioni della Cura’ at the Teatro di Petrella di Longiano. This production is intended to honor nursing values such as respect, responsibility, and dignity.

A second event, a public conference titled ‘25 anni accanto. La cultura della cura, la forza della comunità’, will take place on October 20 at the Cinema teatro Moderno in Savignano sul Rubicone. These celebrations aim to integrate scientific reflection with community engagement and cultural sharing.
