Hospice Quinte's Hike for Hospice raises $60,000 for regional care

On Saturday, May 23, Hospice Quinte hosted its annual Hike for Hospice 2026 at Centennial Park in Trenton, Ontario. More than 140 hikers took part, forming over 19 teams, with additional community members walking in on the day.

The event generated nearly $60,000 in donations to support the organization’s no‑cost hospice and grief‑support services. Executive Director Petra Lepage said, “We are truly humbled by the support shown by our community… Every donation, every team, every sponsor, and every person who walked beside us helped create something incredibly meaningful.” Ongoing contributions can be made through the event’s online donation link.
