Hospital Apoyo Iquitos nears inauguration in Peru

The Hospital Apoyo Iquitos in Peru is scheduled for inauguration in the coming days. Luis Montalván Guerra, the Regional Infrastructure Manager for the Loreto Regional Government, confirmed that the construction is 100% complete and equipment testing is currently underway.

While the full infrastructure will be delivered, the nutrition and laundry areas will not be operational immediately. Although these spaces are built, they lack necessary equipment because items purchased during the previous administration failed to arrive at the site. Additionally, officials noted that the slab supporting the cooling system will be reinforced to address fissures caused by the weight and vibration of heavy equipment.
