Hospital Central Dr. Ramón Carrillo launches new blood donation drive in San Luis
The Central Hospital “Dr. Ramón Carrillo” in San Luis has opened a new blood‑donation session on Friday, from 08:30 to 11:30, in the main hall. Organized by the hospital’s Hemotherapy Service, the drive aims to boost the provincial blood‑stock for emergencies, surgeries and urgent treatments. Donors aged 18‑65, weighing at least 50 kg and in good health are invited to participate; each donation can help up to three patients. The process takes about 15‑20 minutes and follows strict safety protocols, with a pre‑donation medical check.
The hospital urges community participation, emphasizing that “each drop counts” in ensuring timely transfusions for patients in need.
