Hospital de Clínicas de Uberlândia upgraded to oncology center

The Hospital de Clínicas de Uberlândia in the Triângulo Mineiro region has officially transitioned to a Center for High Complexity Oncology Assistance (Cacon). This upgrade from its previous classification as a Unacon unit significantly expands the facility's capacity to treat patients.

The new status secures an annual funding allocation of R$ 11,266,173.50. This financial support is intended to provide the operational capacity necessary to manage at least 1,000 new cancer diagnoses every year.
