Hospital de día 2 de Abril completes first 'Acompañando la Crianza' cycle
The Hospital de día 2 de Abril 'Dr. Adolfo Lippman' in Formosa has completed the first cycle of its 'Acompañando la Crianza' program. Launched in September, the initiative aims to provide pregnant women and families with essential information and tools regarding gestation and child development during the first three years of life.
The most recent module featured professionals from obstetrics and pediatrics who covered topics such as labor, childbirth, and newborn care. According to the hospital's director, Dr. Lorena Díaz, the program is a free initiative offered by the Government of Formosa through the Ministry of Human Development.
Building on this success, a second module will commence shortly. Additionally, starting in October, the hospital will introduce new sessions held on Wednesdays specifically dedicated to child rearing. These sessions are open to mothers with children up to three years old and allow for the participation of a chosen companion, such as a father, grandparent, or friend.
