Hospital del Trauma upgrades surgical suites with new technology

The Hospital del Trauma, operated by the Instituto Nacional de Seguros (INS) in Costa Rica, is undergoing a technological upgrade in its operating rooms. The facility is incorporating new medical devices to improve surgical precision and expand treatment options for patients with complex injuries and trauma.

A key acquisition includes a next-generation surgical microscope designed for neurosurgery. This tool provides high magnification and illumination for delicate anatomical structures, such as microscopic blood vessels, nerve pathways, and brain tissue, to assist surgeons in navigating complex neurological environments.
