Hospital Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar undergoes maintenance and treats accident victims

The Hospital Universitario Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar in Maturín, Monagas, has undergone technical improvements through the Cayapa Heroica Plan. Specialists performed corrective maintenance on air conditioning systems, including fixing leaks in condenser units and recharging R-22 refrigerant gas. These actions restored five units serving critical areas such as X-ray, Infectology, Dentistry, and patient offices, benefiting approximately 3,500 monthly patients.

Separately, the hospital's emergency department treated 21 individuals injured in motorcycle-related accidents during the first weekend of November. The victims reported various injuries, including polytrauma and cranioencephalic trauma, resulting from collisions and falls in different sectors of the region.
