Hospital Estadual Dirceu Arcoverde experiences short circuit

A short circuit occurred at the Hospital Estadual Dirceu Arcoverde (HEDA) in Parnaíba on Friday, October 25. The incident followed an electrical grid maneuver by Equatorial, which caused an oscillation that affected the facility's transformer.

The hospital reported that the surrounding region had been without power since approximately 3:00 AM. HEDA maintained operations using its own generator, ensuring continuous power to critical areas including the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Neonatal ICU, and the Surgical Center. The hospital's fire brigade controlled the situation, and no injuries or material damages were reported.
