Hospital facilities in Argentina and Mexico receive medical technology upgrades

Hospital San Martín de Paraná in Argentina has acquired a new portable ultrasound machine for its Coronary Unit. Funded by the Entre Ríos Ministry of Health with an investment exceeding 36 million pesos, the device is designed to improve care for critical patients who cannot be moved to cardiology offices. The technology allows for more efficient diagnostic stabilization and features advanced capabilities such as automatic ejection fraction and doppler imaging.

In Mexico, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) has completed the renovation of the Hemodynamics room at General Zone Hospital No. 46 in Tabasco. The facility is being equipped with a biplanar arch angiograph to perform complex endovascular interventions. This upgrade aims to strengthen the “Código Infarto” strategy, facilitating faster identification and treatment of acute myocardial infarction patients, while also supporting procedures related to the brain, kidneys, and tumor embolization.
