Hospital Favaloro expands surgical services in Misiones

The Dr. René Favaloro School Hospital in Villa Cabello has completed over 730 surgical procedures during the first eight months of the year. The institution projects it will reach nearly 1,000 procedures by December, representing a growth of approximately 35% to 40% compared to the previous year.

According to healthcare manager Dr. Carlos Veronesi, the hospital is functioning as a key decentralized node within the healthcare network that includes Hospital Madariaga and the Fundación Parque de la Salud. The facility currently maintains a 90% inpatient ward occupancy rate.

The hospital offers a wide range of specialties, including general surgery, coloproctology, plastic surgery (including MOHS for basal cell carcinoma), urology, gynecology, dermatology, and traumatology. Its gynecological services include pelvic floor procedures and minimally invasive surgeries such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
