Hospital General de Tomelloso expands services and modernizes facilities

The Hospital General de Tomelloso is undergoing a modernization process involving investments exceeding 900,000 euros to strengthen its healthcare capacity and expand its services.

A key component of this growth is a collaborative model with the hospital in Manzanares. Since 2022, the Traumatology departments of both centers have worked together to perform specialized hip arthroscopies. This partnership has already facilitated 29 procedures, serving patients from various regions including Albacete, Toledo, and Guadalajara. To support this, the hospital recently invested approximately 30,000 euros in a new positioning system to improve surgical precision.

Additionally, the collaboration has extended to the Otorhinolaryngology department, which has recorded 89 interventions since February. The hospital is also implementing new measures to humanize care within its maternity and neonatal units.
