Hospital Infantil Municipal de Córdoba receives top pediatric accreditation

The Gerardo Sixto González Municipal Children's Hospital in Córdoba has received the highest accreditation from the Argentine Society of Pediatrics (SAP) for its pediatric residency program. This certification is valid for five years, which is the maximum period allowed for this type of evaluation.

The accreditation recognizes the hospital's role as a training center, validating the quality, safety, supervision, and scientific updating of its teaching, medical, and professional teams. The program is part of the postgraduate specialization offered by the National University of Córdoba, integrating university education with clinical practice within the public health system.

Through this residency, recently graduated physicians develop clinical competencies, diagnostic criteria, communication skills, and interdisciplinary teamwork while working in a high-demand pediatric care environment.
