Hospital Ingavi restores air conditioning after transformer failure

The Hospital de Especialidades Quirúrgicas Ingavi has restored its air conditioning system following a transformer failure that left patients and insured members facing intense heat over the weekend.

The Instituto de Previsión Social (IPS) reported that maintenance personnel worked through the night and into Monday to replace the damaged transformer with a new unit. While the system is now fully operational across all blocks, the institution noted that temperatures within the building will return to normal levels gradually due to the duration of the outage.

During the period of the malfunction, medical services remained active, and measures were implemented to ensure patient care and well-being were maintained.
