Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein ranked best in Latin America

The IntelLat 2026 ranking has named Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein as the top hospital in Latin America. Brazilian healthcare institutions showed significant presence in the regional list, which evaluated 105 hospitals.

Other Brazilian entities ranked highly in the top five, including Hospital Sírio-Libanês in fourth place and Hospital Moinhos de Vento in fifth. In total, 41 Brazilian institutions were included in the ranking, with 15 appearing in the top 50 and seven in the top 20.

Brazilian hospitals also led in several medical specialties:

• Oncology: Einstein (1st), Sírio-Libanês (2nd), Moinhos de Vento (3rd), and Hcor (9th). • Pulmonology: Einstein (1st), Sírio-Libanês (7th), Moinhos de Vento (8th), Nove de Julho (9th), and Santa Joana Recife (10th). • Gynecology and Obstetrics: Einstein (1st), Moinhos de Vento (6th), Casa de Saúde São José (9th), and Santa Joana Recife (10th). • Cardiology: Einstein (1st), Sírio-Libanês (7th), and Moinhos de Vento (10th).
