Hospital Regional de Patos receives new 80-channel tomograph

The Hospital Regional de Patos in Paraíba has received a new 80-channel tomograph to expand diagnostic imaging capacity for patients in Patos and the surrounding Sertão region. Federal Deputy Hugo Motta announced the equipment, noting that it aims to better meet regional demand and reduce the need for patient travel to other areas for specialized services.

In addition to the new tomograph, an MRI machine is expected to be delivered to the hospital in October. These investments are intended to strengthen the specialized healthcare infrastructure in the Sertão region.
