Hospital Regional Público do Marajó renews ONA certification

The Hospital Regional Público do Marajó (HRPM) in Breves, Pará, has renewed its certification from the Organização Nacional de Acreditação (ONA). The facility maintains the ‘Acreditado Pleno – Nível 2’ seal, which recognizes institutions that demonstrate integrated processes and systematic management practices for continuous improvement.

Managed by the Instituto Nacional de Desenvolvimento Social e Humano (INDSH) since 2010, the 70-bed hospital serves users of the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) in the Marajó region. Hospital leadership noted that the renewal is the result of collective work aimed at providing safer, more efficient, and humanized care. To maintain this accreditation, the hospital implemented internal changes, including the reorganization of flows and processes to align with new evaluation methodologies.
